![]() ![]() we had the fried cheese curds with their special sauce to share. Peek under the heart of Burt Reynolds ladies! As far as the eats. Also check out the bathrooms as they have fun little surprises. If you cannot find all the items on your list, the servers will help you. Many interesting items on the walls with this eccentric spy decor. You are given a mission sheet where you get up and walk around the rooms, it is larger than you'd first think, to find the magician, the cards on the ceiling, the shark, etc. Luckily there is plenty to do to keep you occupied. Our server was friendly but a bit overworked it seemed as he was rushing around and we had to wait sort of long for drinks and food. Ours was pretty boring but we did get the typical name tags to think up our agent names. Now we didn't get a neat table like some that are available. That's such fun to see what people have to do to get inside, whether it is acting like zombies or move/statue/freeze game. Then a hidden door opens and you enter into the bar area to see that monitors are on so that those inside can watch the performances. If you don't know the password to enter the door lady has you do something to prove you are worthy of entering - she was kind to us, we just had to ballroom dance a bit. So sad.Nondescript exterior of Int'l Exports begins your adventure. I read so much cool stuff about Safe House, but this place reeks of an abandoned amusement park eatery. Because it was set up for non-HD, the sides of the image were cut off by the projector. They had a playoff baseball game playing on a very old projection-style screen. You'd think a bartender at a place like this would play along with the spy theme, but he just seemed like a regular bartender. Mine wasn't properly strained, so it had ice in it. We sat at the bar and the bartender made us some martinis that tasted more like Kool-Aid. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. Just a dimly lit bar with tons of James Bond posters on the wall. ![]() I'd read about puzzles at the table or games available to play. Then, a bookcase opened and we were able to enter the bar. My girlfriend and I had to "pat down" each other for weapons, then do five jumping jacks. When you arrive, you are forced to complete a silly task if you don't know the password to enter. The premise is promising: A cool spy-themed bar. I bet this place was great 20 years ago when management might have given a damn. I didn't get a chance to enjoy any drinks at the bar as I was driving that night, but maybe next time I can check out their drink selection as their bar area looked fun as well. I would like to go back since my children and hubby haven't been there and they want to go, I just hope the next time the door person is more friendly. The walls are covered in all kinds of cool spy stuff and you can go exploring while you wait for your food or afterwards. The food was pretty good, served in a timely fashion and not expensive. She really got into her role and you could tell she enjoyed her job, and she made my birthday dinner with my friends a lot of fun. She was just amazing, I wish I could remember her name now, because she was terrific and she was so much fun. I am glad I gave it a chance after the experience with the door girl because our waitress made up for it. ![]() We talked about walking out right there, but I wasn't sure if that was suppose to be part of the act or if this girl was just having a rough day and I wanted to check this place out so we stayed. The people in front of us gave us a wide eyed look and shook their heads. So I smiled and said "Pardon me?" and in a very snotty tone she barked, "I said, 2nd group to the bottom of the stairs until I call you up here!" and then rolled her eyes at us. Upon entering, we walked up the stairs (like 4 stairs and then a landing) and the door girl gave us a dirty look and mumbled something we could not hear. The entrance is pretty small and you have to stand there while preforming your tricks before you are allowed to enter, there was a couple of people that had just entered before us and since this was our first time we were not really sure what to expect or do. My only gripe about this place (and why I gave it 3 stars instead of 4) is that the door girl was rude to us upon entering. It was fun to watch them on the screen when I was let into the bar and they weren't until they preformed silly antics to get in. My friends didn't have the password to get in, but I did because I looked it up online before I went lol. I went with 2 girlfriends for my birthday dinner 10/03/14 around 5 00 pm.
